The course will look at the current position in school improvement and review 'school to school support' . What we know (and what we think we know) works.
The course leaders will draw on the most up to date teaching and learning research and practical examples to distinguish between what makes a satisfactory lesson into a good one. Making use of effective questioning, student progress, tracking data, effective lesson plans and behaviour for learning. Approaches taken will include teaching and learning presentations, discussions about student progress, lesson plans and inspiring staff through case studies. Materials of practical use will be provided.
